female, 26 moons, warrior, timberclan
appearance
a light tabby brown she-cat with large amber eyes.
personality
While one would think that lovely little Hawkwhistle is a good natural she-cat, she is in fact a fireball. She's most likely to bite the head of a fox with her witty, sarcastic and well-aimed vocal approach before she even raises a claw. Her who mindset - is more of a bark no bite policy. However do not put it past her - she is quick to snap and even quicker to lash out. Her rang of insults sprout from clan insults to those she may of heard from by-passing rogues or loners - so do not put it by her to retort with some ruin rogue insult. Now what else? Hawkwhistle does not give her trust out willingly, since her whole family pretty much abandoned her after two near death experiences - both her plotting, but by accident. But while she does not hand trust out - she knows not to bite the hand that feeds her, and so she remained loyal to her clan - but forever loyal to Starclan. You see, Hawkwhistle likes to believe her father and her youngest brother walk beside her - giving her the strength she needs when her mother and older brother can not. But here is where the juicy parts come in. Not once has little Hawkwhistle crushed on a tom - in fact, one would acknowledge her as the only daughter of Redfoot - who will never bare kits because not a single cat will see past her rudeness. But beware, when she falls or even crushes, the insults will either grow and she will act more rudely - or she'll have sudden character-shift, her personality becoming more awkward and bubbly.
history
It all started moons ago, where a tom and a she-cat meet, two lovers under the distant moon and a story for the elders to tell. You see, to fully understand how Hawkwhistle came into being, you'll have to take a few steps back and watch the development of her father and mother's relationship.
There once was a rogue who's name was Bird, she was roughly ten moons old when she stumbled across Timberclan, and in a moment of pity the leader took her in. That was when she meet Redfoot, and Redfoot was a twenty-two moon old tom. The two hated each other, spite-fire and scolding from any cat within hearing distance - even those from another clan. But the two didn't see it coming, the love budding and the real reason why they fought. They liked each other, and yet, not one of them wanted to admit it. So under the moon that shown nearly full in the sky Bird who had become a warrior Birdflight and Redfoot who was just named deputy put aside their differences, their hatred feud and became one - mates.
A good couple of moons or so later Redfoot passed away with an illness that there was no cure too. Birdflight was heart-broken and mourned for days, but the news came a moon later when the rounding of her stomach and the constant pains forced her to the Medicine Cat's den. She was pregnant, with kits - Redfoot's kits. This brought joy to her mind and in that last moon preparing for her kits, she nourished herself, moving straight to the nursery and giving everything she had to the arrival of her and Redfoot's kits. When the time came, three little bundles laid beside her belly and she swore she felt Redfoot beside her whispering names into her ears. The eldest she called Redkit in honour of his father. The second oldest took after her more in pelt colour and so she dubbed her daughter Hawkkit. Lastly the youngest kit, with the ginger-tabby fur she named Firekit. Two sons, the eldest and the youngest and her daughter the middle child.
Let's set the basics straight, Hawkkit and Redkit were the trouble-makers, always dragging their youngest brother Firekit into everything they did, everything. It was a crystal clear night - the moon shown full and most of the cats were at the gathering - including mother. You see it was Redkit's idea to venture into the night, Hawkkit's idea to sneak into the fox den and Firekit's life that vanished into the sky. That was how the trio of trouble making siblings lost the trio part of their name. Only four moons old and they witness the death of their youngest brother before their very eyes. Managing only to survive by the stray loner that was crossing their paths - to this day the pair of siblings knows not the loner's name, expect that her fur is fluffy and calico in design.
But it was the scolding and the pain they saw and heard from their mother that morning and the rest of her life that they felt the sorrow sink into the depths of their soul. It affected Redkit the most, he was the oldest, he should of took responsibility and that was how the Duo of Trouble Makers, lost its duo. Hawkkit, was alone in her mischief making. But it was in the two kit's fifth moon, a moon before their apprentice ceremony that Hawkkit nearly got both kits killed. Redkit and her mother scolded her and when Redkit became an apprentice before her, and she had to wait a moon - she got frustrated and knew exactly how she was going to get back at them. She waited, behaved and was made an apprentice, her mentor was Sandclaw and her brother Redpaw got a mentor named Bearclaw. (and apparently sandclaw and bearclaw were stepbrothers!)
Hawkpaw instantly set into her new role as the clan's hot-headed she-cat. She had a sharp tongue that sliced at other cat's faults. If a she-cat had a limp, Hawkpaw would make note of it -being observant coming second-nature in Timberclan. While this feline barked at anything that even annoyed her in the slightest, she learned everything she could learn from her mentor. She fought - battle training being her strength and yet when her mentor tried to teach her hunting and scolded her when she didn't do it correctly, she laughed at him and in a battle of wits made fun of the fact that his daddy and mommy just couldn't get along and he was the misfit in his family's, well, family.
But when she earned her warrior name finally Hawkwhistle, she did the one thing no one had ever heard her say to anyone - thank you, and i'm sorry. She spoke those two words to her mentor and even gave him a unexpected lick on the cheek. Now she is twenty-six moons old and ready to go.
