A small, slender silver tabby with only one eye that is cloudy, but shows golden in the sunlight.

personality
Riversong is a sweet cat with a heart of gold. She will go to the ends of the earth to save another cat. She is hard headed and determined almost to a fault. The fastest way to get her to do something is to tell her that she can’t, she will find a way to do it just to prove you wrong. When she has something on her mind she says it, though she is not rude or crass in any way. She simply stands up for what she believes in and what she believes is right.

Riversong has a great knowledge of medicine and all of the herbs of the forest. Her memory is amazing when it comes to treatments, illnesses, and injuries. She can remember the history of almost all of the cats in the clan and what they were treated for. Though she is not very old herself, she takes her duty with both paws and gives it all of her heart and soul.


history
As a kit, Riverkit was normal in every way. She had a normal family, nothing remarkable. One of 5 kits, she has two brothers and two sisters. She was always strong and healthy, never having any problems as some kits do.

As an apprentice, Riverpaw was a fast learner. She learned to hunt and fight alongside her mentor, and had a quick memory and recall for all that she was taught. She looked forward to the warrior way of life, and admired all of the great warriors that surrounded her.

Riversong soon became the warrior that she had always dreamed of being, but it was short lived. Shortly after her naming ceremony, Riversong was struck with an infection that left both of her eyes clouded. Though it affected her sight she hid it from her leader and the medicine cat and returned to her warrior duties. She was not willing to take the time to adjust to the change in her vision and paid dearly for the mistake. In a fight to defend her clan, Riversong failed to duck out of the way and caught a claw slash to the face that went directly through her left eye. After a few days of trying to save it, it was clear that they eye was lost. After months of fighting life threatening infection and swelling in her face and head, Riversong was told that she could never return to her life as a warrior. Heartbroken, she moped around the medicine cat’s den and slowly began to help out. As the injury healed, so did her pride; and she found that she had another calling. After the loss of the former medicine cat, Riversong stepped in and gladly took her new-found place in the clan.
