appearance
A lean tabby she-cat with large paws and amber eyes.
personality
There are usually two faces to every being, every creature, but for Gorsepaw she is an open book. She lays all her emotions on her face, betrayal, happiness, sorrow, fear any emotion you can list, she can display on her face when she feels it. However like most cats within her clan she is good at with-holding information or being 'secretive'. She will be riddled with grief and feel bad if she with-holds it from some cats and while she will hide it as best as she can, she has been known to blow up and tell someone in the long run. But she is much more then the open-book, she is shy. She shy away from many cats, always following her mentor about if her mentor is around - or staying by herself if she can. Alone she is quiet observant and watches everything - she likes to learn habits and fears of others and use this knowledge against her enemies. To cats outside of her clan, they call her reserved and slightly unnerving at how she can stay still for hours and simply observe. It just shows she has patience and with patience one can do anything if they want. She is a very friendly cat though if one can get past her shyness. She loves to help the queens and the elders and even spends some days sitting with them and telling them her stories to entertain them instead of the other way around.
history
The season was a brilliant one. Cool weather and light rain fall. Gorsepaw was the only kit to a petite female and a normal sized male. Both cats were quiet and hush-hush about their single-kit litter and tried to shower their only kit with gifts. Flowers picked for her, prey of the finest and even daily baths (those she hated the most). It was every kit's dream and some of the kits shunned her, didn't want to play with her when she shyly asked them. But sadly, they turned her away and she built up her wall to protect her, but her face remained open. Her parents kept adding more pressure, becoming over protective. But all the attention her parents gave her, made her shyer. She shielded herself from her parents over protectiveness by hiding out in the elder's den, whispering tales of made-up dreams and wonderful lies of pixie cats and mice that can fly. It was during those story telling that she learned to watch others, becoming observant and patient as she stared up into the eyes of every cat - odd for her shyness, but this was the odd part of her, she could stare down a cat when observing but when she was not, she would hide her face and flee the scene. She was made an apprentice not long ago and her mentor is non-other then Shadefur.

Life was good.
His small paws carried the heavy bulk of fur through the forest, whiskers brushing against leaves and jaws parted to let air travel up into scent glands. The weather was nice, cool and relaxing compared to the hot days that Green-leaf could bring. The white pelt brushed against thickets and the mice scurried around his paws as his head remained high, his ears alert for anything that might sound off about his clan. But as it seemed, the scent was clear, the noises were silent and the forest was at peace. The sun was shinning above and that was when his body tense. Something was not right within this part of the territory and his lips curled back into a snarl as he felt his feet pound forward, the distance sound of snarls and the sharp scent of a fox entered his scent glands."Snowstar! Wait."The tom, Snowstar, ignored the voice of a ginger tom and his apprentice as he bolted to wards the noises. The rest of his small patrol following behind him as his short legs carry him quickly and soon he comes to halt as he stares up into the face of a fox. It felt like moons as the scene seemed to slow down. Snowstar's fur began to prickle and that was when it broke. Snowstar leapt just as the fox did and the two clashed together in a ball of white and red. Snowstar caught sight of the rest of his patrol joining in, and the three together landed blows to the fox's head, legs and underbelly. Lips curling up into a snarl Snowstar went for the throat and the next thing he knew was the ground below him was gone and the air was around him. He landed painfully and harshly next to the tree, his eyes fluttering trying to remain open.
The stars shown bright around him. "Wait... stars? It was sun-high when the fox- Gingertooth?!" Snowstar's head snapped up and he pounced to his feet. The forest was warm, a gentle breeze rolling from the grassy fields and before him stood the shimmery outline of a furry pelt and brilliant green-amber eyes. "WHAT!" His yowl rose above anything he had ever heard and he stumbled backwards. The whispering voice lifted around him and soon he spotted his mother standing before him, her soft silver fur glistering with stars."My son, you have lost your first life. Do not fret, you need only moments to recover."Snowstar's lips curled into a frown and he stepped back shaking his head. "Mother, they need me. There is this fo-" The tail hushing him made him stare wide eye into the other cat's eyes. His own eyes."You and the patrol are safe, the fox has been driven off. All you must do is wake up."Snowstar stared from the glowing eyes to his dead mother and frown. "Father misses you.." His words echoing around as he noticed the forest lighting up."My son, I miss you both as well.""Snowstar?!"The sun shown brightly in his eyes as he opened his eyes to stare into the green eyes of Gingertooth, his former apprentice his the tom's own apprentice. "I'm all right, let's head back to camp." He wheezed, his body moving sorely as he leaned against the two larger cats and headed to wards the camp.
Life wasn't that bad.
