an ashen she-cat with viridian orbs.
personality
Miss Ashfang has one hell of a dangerous aura surrounding her. With her fierce fighting skills and seductive beauty, it's a surprise to many that she isn't as malicious as some cats believe her to be. Honesty is the best policy when you're around this girl, and she'd love it if you didn't speak to her in a patronizing tone. Most of her acquaintances would call her one of the toms as she's been hanging around them since birth. To her, she-cats just end up judging you and gossiping about your every move.
Toms do this on a more muted level and without such pernicious attitude. When it comes to love and things of the sort, ambivalance is the only thing that will come to Ashfang. Never has she had a crush that she has acted upon. Nor has a tom with a crush on her told her. Stubborness has been in her since birth as she had to fight for attention with two brothers trying to steal all the glory. Melancholy occasionally comes to her when she realizes how far she's gotten in life without her mom around. It's a dismal story for her to tell, and hardly any cat knows much about it aside from her closest friends.
Friends and enemies alike have certain bones to pick with this gal, but she doesn't let their little squabbles ruin her day. In fact, arguing here and there is how Ashfang usually wakes up in the morning. With a tongue as sharp as rose thorns and ferocity running quickly through her veins, her abominable fury is enough to make any cat feel diminutive after a few flicks of the tail. Despite her paradisiacal looks, she doesn't flaunt around like a ripe and randy apprentice in heat. Instead, she is quite humble and leads a salubrious life.
Manners are a great thing to use to impress Ashfang, but the one thing she'd like the most is if you asked her out on a hunting trip. Traipsing about territory and prowling for prey is the absolute best way to spend the day in her opinion. When she's around the few friends she manages to keep, this she-cat tends to be a bit loquacious and tentative to let silence fill the air.
Kits are nothing special to her, and the same goes for apprentices. Ashfang highly doubts she'll ever have or be given either as the young ones in the Clan tend to make her a bit grumpy. Loud noises and excessive fighting gives Ashfang strong headaches that tend to stick around for a bit and make her as irritable as an agravated adder that's been starved for a week.
Her greatest downfall is that she never manages to say the right thing when it's truly important. Most of her actions have little to no thought behind them and she tends to go by instinct or what immediately seems right. Battling and hunting comes easily to her, but what she gains in that area she tends to lack in the social area. Ashfang is, like all other cats, imperfect.
history
Born in the dead of winter to Larktail and Bluefur, Ashkit was a fighter from the start, afterall, being the only girl in a litter with two other boys definitely made things interesting for both her and her parents. She had to be stubborn from the start, a real trooper, if she wanted any sort of milk from her mother. Ravenkit and Hazelkit liked playing games that made Ashkit have to fight for her share, and it wasn;t until the three of them were made apprentices that they finally started treating her like an equal! However, by the time they were six moons old, their mother had been dead for two moons and Bluefur had already found a new mate by the name of Featherstep.
Who else other than lovely ol' Featherstep would be chosen for Ashpaw's mentor? It only seemed fitting that the little girl with issues from her mother's death was forced to face the new "love of her father's life." It didn't help that Hazelpaw managed to get himself in a life-threatening situation as they reached their ninth moon. He'd somehow drawn the attention of a pair of dogs living in the TimberClan forest and it took Ravenpaw, Ashpaw, and Bluefur to rescue the poor little guy. Ashfang's still pretty protective of her little brother even to this day. Ashpaw received from pretty gnarly injuries from the dog attack, and it even put her off schedule to becoming a warrior. After spending a few moons in the medicine cat's den, she finally plucked up the courage to tell Featherstep to stick it and she received a new mentor by the name of Kestrelflight. They worked hard together and Ashpaw was eventually able to catch up her training and she's worked hard alongside Ravenstorm, Hazeltail, and her fellow warriors to this day. Oh, and as for her name? -fang, and why else other than her sharp tongue and her pretty fierce battle skills?
