the northernmost territory, heatherclan is a fairly vast, sloping prairie dotted by small tributaries and occasional thickets or boulders. however, for the most part this territory is wide open. predators primarily include coyotes, badgers, and dogs, while prey includes ground-birds, hares, and small rodents. these cats are known for being small, agile, and graceful with a knack for keeping calm and justice.

a rather dark and mysterious territory, this area is completely forested, save for a few clearings scattered between dense pines and maples which create a sort of veil over the land. near camp is a small hot spring and stream. predators include dogs, foxes, and snakes. prey includes birds, squirrels, mice, and other small rodents. these cats are most often attractive and well-groomed with lean builds for tree-climbing and outwardly secretive attitudes.

along the lakeshore lies this rough clan, living among the stone cliffs and sparse foliage. though most of the lakeshore is ignored due to the danger the rough cliffs pose, there is a small beach used to fishing on the northernmost point of the shore. galeclan borders both the stream and the river, at the end of which is a great, fearsome waterfall known as The Maw. predators include coyotes and badgers, while prey includes fish, mice, and other small rodents. these cats are most often large and well-built, with a reputation for bitterness and aggression.

each full moon, the clan leaders will round up a group of cats and meet up here, where all three territories touch, forming a small ravine. at one end of this hollow is an enormous tree, once magnificent, now peacefully settled in the moss on its side. the leaders stand upon this tree to make their announcements, while the rest of the cats spectate from the moss carpet.

medicine cats and leaders journey around the lake to the far side, where a short mountain range crops up. at the mouth of this range is a small cave, which, through a series of steps, opens up into an enormous, mysteriously lit cavern with many pools, stalactites, and stalagmites. here, contact with starclan is easy.
